Controller and contact

SOCIETE AJP TECH RDC S.A.R.L., a multi-member limited liability company, is the controller for this website. RCCM: CD/KNG/RCCM/26-B-00390; national identification: 01-I6100-N92723C; tax ID: A2605157K.

Registered office: 4th floor, office 89, Nouvelle Galerie Présidentielle, Boulevard du 30 Juin, Quartier de la Gare, Gombe, Kinshasa, DRC. Alex Simisi Nta, CEO and CTO, is your contact for questions about this policy.

Scope and legal framework

This policy covers browsing ajptech-rdc.com and contacting our team. Platforms and services covered by a separate contract may have additional information specific to their use.

It is based on Book III of Ordinance-Law No. 23/010 of 13 March 2023 establishing the Congolese Digital Code, including its rules on consent, proportionality, transparency and individual rights.

Data involved

We limit collection to information useful for the exchange and for operating the website.

  • Form: name, email and message are required; organization and phone number are optional. The request subject and language are also sent. Without the required fields, the form cannot be submitted.
  • Consent evidence: agreement on submission, server receipt date and time, policy version and message reference. Consent checkboxes are not saved in drafts.
  • Browsing and security: connection IP address, technical request information, spam counters and possible hosting logs.
  • Optional draft: form fields stored on your device if you enable the feature. Do not include sensitive data, identity documents, passwords or confidential information about others in an initial message.

Purposes and grounds

Handling your request and providing follow-up relies on free and informed consent through a separate, unticked checkbox. Refusing prevents form submission but does not prevent browsing. Saving a draft is a separate, optional choice.

Your information does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Certain retention or disclosures may also be necessary to comply with an applicable legal obligation under Article 192 of the Code.

Technical data is used to operate, diagnose and protect the website. We do not conduct commercial profiling or automated decisions producing legal effects concerning you. The spam counter may temporarily limit submissions.

Recipients and providers

Messages are emailed to authorized AJP TECH RDC personnel handling your request. The website does not maintain a separate prospect database alongside these exchanges. We do not sell visitor data.

Hostinger provides hosting and business email. Its staff and technical providers may process information as necessary for these services. Competent authorities may receive information where required by an applicable law or lawful request.

Retention periods

Retention depends on the purpose and the progress of your request.

  • Requests with no further action: a maximum retention rule of 12 months after the last exchange, followed by deletion from active mailboxes. Consent evidence follows the request retention period unless further retention is justified.
  • Contracts, legal obligations or disputes: necessary information may be kept during the relationship and for an applicable archiving or legal defence period, without reuse for marketing.
  • Drafts: expire 7 days after the last save and are deleted on the next access to the form. Successful submission or your erase action removes them sooner.
  • Spam prevention: counters operate in a 15-minute window in server memory. Expired entries are cleared on a later request or when the process stops.
  • Logs and backups: retention depends on the hosting service, its configuration and justified security or recovery needs. Deletion from an active mailbox does not instantly erase all provider backups. You can ask us about the applicable criteria.

Device storage and trackers

No advertising or audience measurement tool is currently integrated into the website. Language selection uses the page address without creating a new persistent preference.

Drafts use only browser local storage after you enable the dedicated option. You can disable saving or use the erase button. Form fields are transmitted to our server only on submission.

An older draft may still be present on your device. It is not automatically restored: the form offers restoration or erasure. You can also delete site data in your browser settings.

Hosting location and international transfers

AJP TECH RDC’s registered office is in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The physical locations of the website and email servers remain to be confirmed with Hostinger. Depending on the service configuration and technical providers involved, data may be processed outside the DRC.

International transfers are subject, in particular, to Articles 201 and 202 of the Code and applicable prior formalities. At the date of this policy, AJP TECH RDC has not yet completed a declaration or obtained processing or transfer authorization. Form consent does not replace those formalities.

Contact us for available information about destinations, providers and proposed safeguards. This section will be updated when locations and formalities have been confirmed.

Security and confidentiality

The website validates fields, checks for automated submissions and limits attempts. Email delivery requires encrypted SMTP transport. Application diagnostic logs do not record messages, email addresses or passwords.

Access must be restricted to authorized personnel and relevant providers. In a data breach, incident handling and notifications required under the Code must be undertaken without delay, as applicable to the circumstances.

Your rights and withdrawing consent

Subject to the conditions in the Digital Code, you may request:

  • Information about processing and access to your personal data.
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure, objection or restriction where the legal conditions are met.
  • Recovery or portability where that right applies.
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time by email, without affecting processing lawfully performed beforehand. A legal obligation or defence of a right may justify limited retention.

Making a rights request

Email contact@ajptech-rdc.com or write to our registered office, identifying the right concerned and information that helps locate your exchange. An identity document is not routinely required; further information may be requested if there is reasonable doubt.

We inform you of action taken within 30 days of receipt. This may be extended by 60 days depending on the complexity or number of requests under Article 239; the reasons are communicated within the initial period. Providing a copy of data is subject to the specific 60-day period in Article 210.

Supervisory authority and remedies

You may complain to the competent personal data authority. ARPTC currently performs the duties of the Data Protection Authority on an interim basis. Official contacts and procedures are available below. This does not limit other remedies provided by law.
